Bioray Dream Machine Review – Opt or Drop?

dream-machine

We have another episode of Opt or Drop. We’re looking at Bioray. They have a wide variety of products – NDF Tummy, NDF Immune, NDF Calm are really common ones that are used in the beginning. You can certainly check out the other videos I have.

This is a sleep aid – Dream Machine, and it’s specifically made for teenagers.

Ingredients

There’s no melatonin in it, so that’s definitely good if you’re trying to avoid melatonin. A lot of times when there are different blends, melatonin is always included.

Here it’s this nice variety of some exotic herbs. So this is definitely an herbal approach. So there’s licorice root, silk tree bark… There’s quite a list of them there.

The mechanism of action for these herbs is really to, in a sense, relax and unwind, so to calm that active mind. So that’s their approach.

Taste

This is the bottle. It is liquid. Shake, shake, shake. It is the middle of the day, but I definitely will take it. I’ve taken it several times. It’s not going to make me instantly fall asleep.

Here, let me… It’s not super fruity tasting or anything like that. There’s definitely a taste, but it’s not overly horrible. So I would say it’s mildly pleasant, but there definitely is a taste.

Directions

It says to take it 10 minutes before bedtime.

I did it during times where I had some issues with sleep. So every once in a while, sometimes my mind’s really too active and I can’t fall asleep, or sometimes I just wake up and then my mind gets active.

So I took it when my behavior was matching what this would match. I wanted to fairly assess it. So I waited for some good opportunity. And what a refrain. “Oh, I’m having trouble sleeping. Oh, excellent. I can try this product.” So my friends laugh at me.

Effects

So I will say my body, when I woke up the next morning, felt sluggish, a little bit like walking in molasses. My brain didn’t have any fogginess.

When I take melatonin, a certain dose, once I reach a certain threshold, then with melatonin, I fall asleep fast. It’s wonderful. But then in the morning, it’s like, oh, goodness, it takes an hour or two for that brain fog to lift off. So this had that effect, but on my body, which was unexpected.

It certainly did help with sleep for the maybe two or three nights that I did take it. It’s nothing instantaneous, right? So it’s not something that I think would be extremely noticeable, maybe a little bit placebo effect.

I think this would be something probably good to use for several days or so. If you’re really struggling with a sleep problem, you would need more than two or three days to really quantify for you if it’s beneficial. For me, I only have those few days of sleep problems, so I used it when I had a sleep problem, but when I didn’t have a sleep problem, I didn’t use it.

Opt or drop?

So Dream Machine, I would have it be an opt. If you wanted to explore different sleep aids, this would definitely be one that makes sense. It uses a different approach than many of the other things out there, so it would be one to try for sure.
